I was a ringbearer

I was a ring bearer in Tina and Eric's wedding on Saturday.

Friday night we practiced the wedding. We started backwards (that was weird!). After the practice, we ate at Farmer Brown's restaurant for supper. I had bread that didn't taste so good, but I had something better. It was prime rib meat and it was juicy!

Saturday I didn't feel that good in the morning, but I felt better at the wedding. Mom got me some Tylenol and 7Up and white crackers in the car on the way there. I felt a lot better after that.

I got my tuxedo on with Dad and Mom helped me put hairspray on. Before the wedding we took pictures, and I took a couple bites of sandwich because I wasn't that hungry. Mom let me have some Mountain Dew with a straw!

At the wedding I got to carry the real rings. I wasn't sure if I would get to, but I thought I would. I was pretty excited about that because it is a big job.

After the wedding, I got to ride in the limo!!!! I sat in the back with Sam. He's the funniest person I've ever met!

We drove to the reception, and I didn't feel good again at first. Mom got me some more medicine. When the cake was ready to eat, I was feeling good again, so I had a half piece of cake.

Some people talked about how they were related to Eric and Tina and they told funny stories about them, Eric and Tina.

After that we danced for a long time. We did a dollar dance. I danced with Eric first in the dollar dance, and all the guys crowded around. Then I asked my aunt Trisha if I could have another dollar to dance with Tina.

After that we left and went home. I had a really, really fun time. My favorite part was the CHICKEN DANCE!

I was glad to be the ringbearer! I wanted to wear my tuxedo to church this morning, but I had a fever this morning and I had to stay home. I still have one right now, but maybe I will be better soon.

My lists

Today I made my birthday list and my Christmas List. Mom is putting them on my blog for me since the paper will probably get lost or recycled.

Christmas List:
1. Death Star (Star Wars Legos)
2. Gumball machine
3. Legos
4. Glow legos

Birthday List:
1. TMNT toy set
2. Night Watcher Motorcycle
3. Raph, Don and Mike Costumes (TMNT)
4. Cowabunga Carl Van (TMNT toy set)

Mom also thinks that a Transformers packpack with a lunch box all of Optimus Prime from eBay would be good gifts, too.

Playdate Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Luke is coming over. Luke is my friend from church. He likes basketball just like me. He also likes video games just like me, but he just has one. (but that's still ok)

We will play Transformers and Fusion Frenzy on our XBOX when he comes. We are getting ready to paint Caroline's room, and after that we will do my room. I don't think we will play in the living room tomorrow, because all of Caroline's stuff is in there. (but it might be clean by then)

A Fun Day at the Schroers

We had a fun yesterday. At 3:00 we went to our friends to swim and eat and watch fireworks. I am glad I could touch the bottom of their pool this year! We swam until supper time, and after supper I was playing in the sandbox. Daddy came over and told me that at 6:30 we could go back in the pool and have another great time in the pool.
We swam until it was time for fireworks. My eyes got very red even though I wore my goggles a lot. A lot of time in the pool, Daddy said, "No JUMPING!" But once in awhile we started jumping and he didn't say anything about it. I did a kneeling dive and then I told Daddy and he said, "No more DIVING!"
I really loved the fireworks that went up in the air and when they got up as high as they could, they s prayed out in pretty colors.
When we came home from Schroers, we did the rest of our fireworks. I had the biggest firework in our family. They were the roman candles. They are still sticking in our yard today.
Did you have a fun time on the 4th of July at your house?

Buying Fireworks

Last year, when we went to get fireworks, we saw this big t-rex dinosaur by the tent. Look how big it is compared to me and Caroline!

Last year we bought a rocket and when we shot it off, we went to all the neighbors in the neighborhood to look for it after it landed, but we couldn't find it. We said it must have went to the moon!

This year we are going to go to north Lincoln and buy fireworks from our friends from church who have their own tent. I get to spend $10 from Dad and any of my wallet money that I want to use.

Some things I think I will buy are: another rocket, snappers, snakes and a tank. I like sparklers, too. Last year, I made my name with a sparkler. I think Raymond will like doing fireworks with us this year, but he might get a little scared. He will probably like the snappers. When the loud things go off, he will probably go to Mommy.

Swimming Lessons

I really love swimming lessons this year. We do it every year in the beginning of summer. My teacher's name is Ashley. I am in level one.

Yesterday they taught me a kind of float, and I can just do anything that's something to do with float now.

I like to play with the green noodle at the end of swimming lessons each time. It is really fun to float around with the noodle.

I'm glad I'm learning to swim because I like it, I want to be safe, and I want to help other people in the water if they are drowning.
